Projeto Pescar is a network of social franchises promoting the necessary learning for professional work in several industrial, commercial and service fields, encouraging youngsters to adopt new living and citizenship habits.

Companies franchised by Projeto Pescar foundation offer personal and professional learning opportunities to low-income youngsters within their own facilities, then introducing them in the labor market.

Since 1998, Selenium is committed to this initiative and takes part of Projeto Pescar, intending to aid in Education and cultural and social formation of young people from Nova Santa Rita community.

The 9-month course attended by 15 youngsters, aims at preparing Sound installation auxiliary technicians. It begins after a careful recruitment and selection process, ending on a beautiful graduation ceremony.

After the training period, these youngsters will be able to enter the labor market and exercise their citizenship.

Helping in the adolescents' socialization within the professional world, through theoretical and practical classes, Selenium Projeto Pescar Unit also allows that these future professionals could be hired as its own collaborators.
